Our client is a global leader in the food processing industry, operating a complex international supply chain and procurement network. You will join a data-driven organization focused on transforming procurement through modern analytics, automation, and scalable data platforms.
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing data solutions that support procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and spend analytics. Working closely with procurement, supply chain, and technology teams, you will develop robust data pipelines, optimize data models, and enable actionable insights that improve purchasing decisions and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting procurement and sourcing data domains.
- Integrate data from ERP, procurement, supplier, and supply chain systems into centralized data platforms.
- Develop and optimize data models to support spend analytics, supplier performance, and sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across procurement-related datasets.
- Support reporting, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives that enhance procurement performance and decision-making.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering and transformation activities.
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks.
- Understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain data domains.
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or other procurement platforms.
- Knowledge of spend analytics, supplier governance, and procurement KPIs.
- Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, or similar data technologies.
- Experience supporting analytics, machine learning, or AI initiatives.
