Data Capability Lead - Europe - Remote - 6+ months

We are looking for a Data Capability Lead for a large S4o9 transformation project. This project entails upgrading SAP ECC to S4 HANA, implementing a greenfield o9 enterprise planning tool, SAP EWM and Blackline intercompany application. Below are some of the

key responsibilities of this role:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of global data projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets, proactively addressing risks, issues, and interdependencies across initiatives.
• Oversee full project lifecycle governance, including quality, testing, sprint (Agile) deliverables, and ensuring operational and go-live readiness.
• Drive risk management and issue resolution, performing impact analysis and mitigating business and technical risks that may affect delivery.
• Collaborate with functional leads, regional teams, MDS teams, and system integrators to design and deliver data solutions, particularly within data migration, master data management, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP S/4, o9).

Required Skills & Experience

• Ideal experience leading large-scale global data/IT projects, with strong expertise in end-to-end project lifecycle delivery using Agile and/or hybrid methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of data migration and master data management (MDM), with hands-on exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA and o9 (or similar planning tools).
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects meet quality standards and are fully ready for go-live.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience delivering clear updates, reports, and aligning senior leadership, business, and technical teams.
• Highly analytical, adaptable, and collaborative professional with a strong track record in problem-solving, cross-functional teamwork, and driving delivery across complex, multi-partner environments.
