Senior SAP IBP Consultant

My client is looking for a Senior SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Consultant to support a large-scale supply chain transformation programme. The successful consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring and optimising SAP IBP solutions, working closely with business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP IBP solutions across multiple planning streams.

• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions.

• Configure and optimise SAP IBP modules, including:

  • IBP Demand Planning

  • IBP Supply Planning

  • IBP Inventory Optimization

  • IBP Response & Supply

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and process owners.

• Define planning processes, KPIs and solution roadmaps.

• Integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO and other enterprise systems.

• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT and defect resolution.

• Provide guidance on best practices for supply chain planning and forecasting.

• Collaborate with technical teams on integration, data modelling and reporting requirements.

• Mentor junior consultants and provide subject matter expertise across the programme.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience.

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP IBP implementation experience.

• Proven delivery experience in at least two end-to-end SAP IBP projects.

• Strong knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP processes.

• Experience designing planning models, master data and key figure structures.

• Hands-on configuration experience within SAP IBP.

• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Ability to work independently within international project teams.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, FMCG or Manufacturing industries.

• SAP IBP Certification.

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Experience with Control Tower and Supply Chain Visibility solutions.

• Knowledge of SAP APO migration programmes.

• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
