Data Modelers (2 Positions) - Azure | Data Warehousing | Data Architecture

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for **Data Modelers** with strong experience in **enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, and Azure Data Platforms** for an exciting global transformation programme.

Our client is undertaking a large-scale data and analytics initiative and is looking for:

* 1x Data Modeler
* 1x Senior Data Modeler

to support the design, governance, and optimisation of enterprise-wide data models and analytics solutions.

Data Modeler Requirements

* 5-7+ years' experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, or related data management role.
* Strong experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modelling.
* Experience designing logical and physical data models for enterprise-scale solutions.
* Strong knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data environments.
* Experience with metadata management and data modelling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio.
* Experience with Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse. Azure Databricks experience is highly desirable.
* Understanding of ETL/ELT design principles and data ingestion processes.
* Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models supporting long-term analytics strategies.

The details of this Data Modeler role include:

* Development and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models across enterprise data platforms.
* Collaborating with Data Architects and solution teams to implement data strategies and data flows.
* Establishing and governing data modelling standards, tools, and best practices.
* Optimising data models and query performance to support analytics and reporting requirements.
* Supporting enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, and data science initiatives.
* Performing reverse engineering, validation, and performance assessment of existing data structures.
* Analysing data integration challenges and proposing scalable solutions.

Senior Data Modeler (Additional Requirements)

* 7+ years of hands-on data modelling experience.
* Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
* Strong understanding of ERP data models and architectures, ideally SAP or JDE.
* Expert SQL knowledge and strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
* Ability to define and drive enterprise-wide modelling standards and governance practices.

Contract Details

Role:** 1x Data Modeler | 1x Senior Data Modeler
Rate:** Competitive market rates (dependent on experience)
Location:Sao Paulo

Start Date: ASAP
