Communication Lead - Change Management - Amersfoort - Freelance

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Communication Lead to join our Organisational Change Management (OCM) team supporting a major S/4HANA transformation programme. This role is ideal for a communications professional with digital transformation experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can effectively engage stakeholders through compelling change communications.

This is not a senior leadership position. We are seeking an adaptable, hands-on communications specialist with strong project coordination skills who can successfully manage multiple priorities while driving stakeholder engagement across different workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies that support the S/4HANA transformation programme.
• Create engaging change management content including newsletters, updates, leadership communications, presentations, and campaign materials.
• Drive stakeholder engagement activities to ensure clear and consistent messaging throughout the transformation journey.
• Partner with project teams, business stakeholders, and change managers to align communications across multiple domains.
• Translate complex transformation topics into clear, user-friendly communications.
• Coordinate communications activities, timelines, and deliverables across various project workstreams.
• Support adoption and readiness initiatives through creative communication campaigns.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and continuously improve engagement approaches.

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience supporting digital transformation, ERP, business transformation, or technology change programmes.
• Strong communication and content creation skills, with the ability to write compelling newsletters and change communications.
• Experience working within change management or transformation environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative communication approaches.
• Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
• Resilient under pressure and able to perform effectively during periods of high activity.
• Project coordination or junior project management experience is highly desirable.
