Business Case & Transformation Consultant

Location: Netherlands | Hybrid

Contract: ASAP - Initially 5 months with probably extension

Our client is looking for a Business Case & Transformation Consultant to support a large-scale transformation programme. This role sits at the intersection of business, finance, and technology, helping drive strategic initiatives through strong business case management, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and challenge business cases for transformation initiatives.
• Track benefits realisation, financial performance, and programme milestones.
• Support governance, reporting, and executive decision-making processes.
• Gather and analyse financial and operational data to measure business value.
• Create presentations, dashboards, and reports for senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment between business, finance, and technology teams.
• Support project coordination and transformation activities across the programme.

Ideal Background

• 4-6 years of experience in consulting, transformation, business analysis, PMO, or project management.
• Experience developing and monitoring business cases.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to transformation projects, ideally within IT, infrastructure, or technology environments.
• Understanding of governance frameworks, commercial agreements, and data-driven decision making.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and leading discussions.

Preferred Experience

• Consulting background (Big 4, boutique, or transformation consultancy).
• Experience with IT infrastructure, cloud, or data centre-related programmes.
• Exposure to portfolio management, benefits realisation, or strategic transformation initiatives.
