UX/UI Designer - 8+ months - Freelance - Mumbai

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join a global FMCG client of ours. This role will support a large-scale Source-to-Pay transformation, focusing on designing intuitive and user-centred experiences that simplify complex procurement workflows and drive adoption of new digital platforms.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in UI/UX design within enterprise or B2B environments
• Background in procurement / supply chain / workflow tools (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Coupa)
• Exposure to AI-driven tools (Agentic AI / Amazon Quick)
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Experience designing for complex, multi-step workflows
• Strong understanding of information architecture and interaction design principles
• Experience with user research, journey mapping, and usability testing
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and design thinking methodologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into simple, user-friendly interfaces
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of procurement or workflow tools is considered a plus
• Exposure to AI-driven interfaces, automation, or digital transformation is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and identify pain points across procurement processes
• Map user journeys and design improved end-to-end experiences
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Design intuitive workflows for purchasing, invoicing, and supplier onboarding
• Develop onboarding experiences, guided tours, and in-app support
• Improve adoption through user-centred design and usability enhancements
• Run usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback
• Define and track UX success metrics such as adoption and task completion
• Collaborate with technology, business, and change management teams
• Contribute to design systems and ensure consistency across platforms
