Staff Engineer - AI Engineering - Remote

We're looking for a hands-on, senior engineer to own and scale our Agentic Engineering Hub, an AI-powered platform automating the software development lifecycle across ~50 repositories and 7+ teams.

You'll turn an already successful prototype (280+ merged PRs) into a production-grade v1.0 platform that multiplies engineering output across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve an AI-driven SDLC platform (planning, coding, testing, PR automation)
• Design and optimize agent workflows (prompting, iteration, cost efficiency)
• Build fleet-scale automation agents for security fixes, test generation, and standards enforcement
• Launch a GenAI prototyping sandbox in Azure with governance and cost controls
• Define observability: usage, cost, success rates, and performance KPIs
• Drive AI adoption across engineering teams through coaching and playbooks

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in software engineering (senior/staff level experience required)
• Proven experience building or operating AI/agent-based systems
• Strong CI/CD and GitHub Actions skills
• Experience with at least two: .NET, Angular, Python/Databricks, IaC (Bicep/Terraform)
• Solid Azure and Git fundamentals
• Strong architectural thinking, ownership, and cross-team collaboration

Nice to Have

• Staff/Principal experience across multiple teams
• Experience with tools like Copilot, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain
• Background in developer platforms or security automation
