Global Enterprise Partners is supporting a leading international sports and consumer brand in the search for an experienced Senior Digital Merchant to join its EMEA Digital Merchandising team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead seasonal assortment strategies for Basketball & Training across digital channels in EMEA. The successful candidate will combine consumer insights, product expertise, and commercial acumen to drive business growth and deliver premium consumer experiences.
Role Overview
As the Senior Digital Merchant - Basketball & Training (EMEA), you will own seasonal assortment creation and business performance for a key product portfolio. Working closely with merchandising, planning, marketing, and digital teams, you will translate consumer and marketplace insights into commercially successful product assortments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute seasonal product assortments from strategy through launch.
- Partner with planning and cross-functional teams to deliver commercial objectives.
- Present assortment strategies and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Analyze sales performance, consumer insights, and retail KPIs to optimize results.
- Manage in-season trading and react to business opportunities.
- Influence future product plans through consumer and marketplace insights.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Assortment Planning, or a related field.
- Strong retail, financial, and analytical acumen.
- Experience managing complex product assortments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Passion for sport; Basketball affinity is highly desirable.
