Senior Backend Developer- .Net - Remote - 7+ Months

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain microservices using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C#
• Design and implement scalable REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Develop backend services operating in hybrid cloud + edge environments
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka (MSK) and Debezium (CDC)
• Model, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases (schema, migrations, performance)
• Develop serverless components (AWS Lambda) where needed
• Implement core business logic for industrial use cases (OEE, energy, quality, etc.)
• Ensure high-quality code via testing, reviews, and AI-assisted development tools
• Collaborate on API contracts with frontend teams and align with architectural standards
• Support production systems and troubleshoot distributed backend issues
• Contribute to backend design decisions and technical improvements

Core Backend Skills (Must-Have)

• Expert in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core (data modeling, performance tuning)
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge (query optimization, indexing)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs (OpenAPI)
• Hands-on with event-driven systems (Kafka, messaging patterns)
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes (cloud + edge deployments)
• Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI testing tools)
• Strong engineering practices: Git, PRs, code reviews, documentation
