About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to support a large-scale global transformation and rollout programme. This role will be responsible for leading testing activities for the Japan deployment while coordinating with global, regional, and offshore teams.

The successful candidate will be a key point of contact between business stakeholders, deployment teams, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for the Japan rollout.
• Develop and manage test strategies, plans, schedules, and execution activities.
• Coordinate testing efforts across global, regional, and offshore teams.
• Manage defects, testing risks, issues, and escalations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
• Provide regular testing status reports and updates to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with deployment teams, business users, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure testing deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Facilitate communication across teams located in Japan, the US, Europe, and India.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Fluent Japanese.
• 5-7+ years of Test Management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale system implementations, rollouts, or transformation programmes.
• Proven track record delivering at least 3-4 full project rollouts.
• Strong experience in:
• Test planning and strategy
• Test execution management
• Defect management
• UAT coordination
• Stakeholder management
• Experience with testing tools such as:
• qTest
• Jira
• Experience managing offshore and vendor testing teams.
• Strong communication and coordination skills within global environments.
• Understanding of Japanese business culture and stakeholder engagement.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Tosca automation framework.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience working within global enterprise or manufacturing environments.
• Previous exposure to large-scale international deployment programmes.
