SAP S/4Hana Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the delivery of key SAP initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA. This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity based in Melbourne, where you will be responsible for managing project delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance, and ensuring successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, migration, or transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Facilitate project governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations across business and IT teams.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and best practices.
• Support change management and business readiness activities as required.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager delivering large-scale SAP projects.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex project environments involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience working within enterprise-level environments.
• Ability to drive project outcomes and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering projects across Manufacturing, Retail, Utilities, Construction, or other enterprise industries.
• SAP Activate methodology experience.
• Relevant Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
• Experience managing system integration partners and offshore teams.
