SAP Project Systems Functional Analyst - Hybrid - 6-12 months

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an SAP Project Systems Functional Analyst with strong experience of SAP PS configuration and SAP Finance integration for a project in Rome, Italy.

Our client is undertaking an Integrated Planning transformation programme in Rome and they are looking for an SAP Project Systems Functional Analyst to assist them with SAP configuration, system integration, and solution optimisation.

SAP Project Systems Functional Analyst Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as SAP PS Functional Analyst
• Strong experience of SAP Project Systems (PS) configuration
• Solid knowledge of WBS structures, project profiles, budgeting, settlement, and reporting
• Experience integrating SAP PS with SAP Finance/Controlling (FI/CO)
• Proven experience supporting enterprise system integrations and financial data flows
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business analysis skills
• Experience with tools such as Oracle EPM or project cost management tools (e.g. Dassian) is a plus
• Proficiency in English (Italian is advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the solution is built and maintained in line with approved configuration and architecture
• Support SIT and UAT testing, including data validation and reconciliation across systems
• Act as the functional bridge between Finance and SAP PS
• Analyse business requirements and recommend process improvements
• Support SAP PS solution design and configuration (WBS, budgeting, settlement, reporting)
• Maintain integration between SAP PS, SAP FI/CO, and external planning tools
• Assess impact of enterprise systems on financial and project planning processes
• Contribute to decisions involving cost management tools and SAP integration
• Support application lifecycle activities (upgrades, patching, incident management)
• Produce documentation for governance and approval processes
• Work within Agile teams contributing to sprints, demos, and improvements
