Senior SAP PP Consultant (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PP Consultant to join a large-scale global SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation program for a leading US-based manufacturing organization. The consultant will play a key role in the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Production Planning solutions while collaborating with global stakeholders across Japan, North America, and other regions.

This is a fully remote position requiring strong expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, and excellent Japanese language communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Production Planning solutions.
• Lead production planning and manufacturing process workshops, gathering business requirements from Japanese and global stakeholders.
• Design and configure SAP PP processes.
• Support Fit-to-Standard workshops and recommend SAP best practices aligned with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Conduct gap analysis and provide solutions within SAP Public Cloud standard functionality.
• Prepare functional specifications and support integration developments where required.
• Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, and support defect resolution activities.
• Assist with data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
• Provide end-user training and hypercare support during post go-live stabilization.
• Coordinate with global project teams and offshore delivery centers.

Required Qualifications

• Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience with at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
• Strong expertise in SAP PP configuration and manufacturing business processes.
• Experience working within manufacturing environments, including discrete and/or process manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory planning, and shop floor execution processes.
• Experience conducting workshops and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and global project environment.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience.
• Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 level or equivalent business fluency).
• Business-level English communication skills preferred.
• SAP PP functional consulting expertise.
• Experience supporting multinational or global SAP transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing industry processes and SAP best practices.
