SAP Finance Domain Lead (SAP FI/CO)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Domain Lead to take ownership of finance-related enterprise applications within a global international organisation undergoing a significant data and digital transformation. The company is investing in a modern data platform and strengthening ownership of business data domains to become a more data-driven organisation.

This role sits within the SAP Competency Centre and acts as the primary interface between Finance, Controlling, and IT. You will oversee SAP Finance solutions across multiple countries and legal entities, driving ongoing support, international deployments, process improvements, and strategic transformation initiatives, including preparation for an SAP S/4HANA programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Finance and Controlling stakeholders.
• Gather, analyse, and challenge business requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and delivery roadmaps.
• Configure and maintain SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee developments performed by technical teams.
• Lead user acceptance testing and production releases.
• Deliver user training and support change management initiatives.
• Provide application support and maintenance for finance systems.
• Manage SAP rollout projects across international business units.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, retail, e-commerce, and other IT teams.
• Provide expertise on finance processes and system best practices.
• Contribute to ERP roadmap definition and SAP S/4HANA preparation activities.
• Conduct technology and market watch activities to identify improvement opportunities.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI and CO modules.
• Experience with SAP configuration/customisation.
• Solid understanding of accounting and management controlling processes.
• Proven experience leading international SAP implementations or deployments.
• Ability to rapidly understand and formalise business requirements.
• Experience working directly with Finance stakeholders.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
