SAP EWM Lead Consultant - Cairo, Egypt - 10+ Months

Our client, a leading international FMCG organization, is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Lead Consultant to play a key role in a large-scale SAP transformation initiative. This position will act as the business process owner for warehouse operations, inventory management, and planning processes, ensuring alignment between operational requirements and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of warehouse and inventory management processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, dispatch, stock transfers, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
• Partner with business and project stakeholders to validate SAP solutions related to warehouse management, inventory movements, storage management, batch and shelf-life tracking, stock status management, and replenishment processes.
• Ensure business requirements are effectively translated into scalable SAP solutions that support complex FMCG operations, including high transaction volumes, inventory accuracy, shelf-life management, returns handling, and seasonal demand fluctuations.
• Define, review, and govern critical master data elements, including material masters, units of measure, storage locations, warehouse structures, planning parameters, inventory policies, and product classifications.
• Support all phases of the SAP program, including system testing, user training, cutover planning, inventory migration activities, go-live preparation, and post-implementation hypercare.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational best practices across warehouse and inventory management functions.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience within warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain planning, or logistics, preferably in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Experience working with SAP ERP solutions, ideally within MM, WM, EWM, Inventory Management, MRP, or related planning modules.
• Strong understanding of warehouse execution processes, inventory control, replenishment strategies, and supply chain planning principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional transformation or ERP implementation programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale business transformation, ERP deployment, or process optimization initiatives is highly desirable.
