RPA INFRA ENGINEER - AMSTERDAM - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a RPA Infra engineer for one of our clients in the vicinity of Amsterdam

PROFILE SUMMARY

We're looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Infrastructure Support Engineer with proven experience in maintaining and supporting Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, particularly RDS Hosts.

He/ she brings hands-on expertise in Microsoft applications. Demonstrates strong working knowledge of UiPath RPA solutions, and is adept at troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing environments that support both human users and automated robot workforces.

They effectively handle queries from product teams via MyITService (ServiceNow) and Jira Service Desk, ensuring issues are resolved thoroughly rather than passed on. Their collaborative approach and investigative mindset make them a valuable resource for infrastructure reliability and service excellence.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Microsoft Azure: Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Azure VMs (RDS

Hosts).

• Windows Server Administration: User session management, patching,

performance tuning, and security best practices in multi-user environments.

• Microsoft Application configuration: Experience with installation, configuration,

and support for Microsoft related applications like FSLogix, Office 365 and Microsoft

Edge.

• UiPath RPA: Understanding of UiPath architecture, basic RPA development

concepts, and troubleshooting UiPath robot/agent deployment and execution

issues.

• Incident & Service Management: Proficient in ServiceNow (MyITService) and Jira

Service Desk for tracking, investigating, and resolving user and infrastructure

incidents.

• Analytical Troubleshooting: Willingness and ability to investigate complex

technical issues to root cause and document findings clearly.

• Automation & Scripting (Bonus): Familiarity with PowerShell or similar scripting

tools for automation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Azure-based RDS Host environments, ensuring high

availability and optimal performance for both human and robot users.

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for UiPath RPA infrastructure, including troubleshooting

robot connectivity, environment configuration, and integration issues.

• Respond to, investigate, and resolve support tickets raised via MyITService

(ServiceNow) and Jira Service Desk, documenting solutions and root causes.

• Collaborate with product teams to understand their needs, proactively identify

potential problems, and suggest improvements.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in Azure, RDS, FSLogix, and UiPath

technologies.

• Participate in regular patching, updates, and maintenance windows as required.

Ideal Background

• 3+ years' experience in infrastructure support, preferably in a virtualized/cloud

environment.

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, or UiPath RPA (preferred but not

mandatory).

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
