Operational BI Lead - EU Remote - 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Operational BI Lead to drive the delivery and enhancement of Operational Business Intelligence (OPBI) reporting solutions. This role will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring reporting requirements are translated into effective BI solutions that support operational decision-making.

The successful candidate will lead reporting implementation activities, coordinate testing and deployment, and oversee the successful transition of solutions into production with ongoing hypercare support.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the OPBI template team to assess business reporting needs and define solution approaches.
• Work closely with delivery and template teams to implement existing OPBI reports across business functions and regions.
• Coordinate and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of new OPBI reporting requirements, including requirement gathering, solution design, development coordination, testing, and deployment.
• Monitor project progress and ensure reporting deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Lead OPBI cutover activities and manage go-live readiness.
• Provide hypercare support post-implementation to ensure smooth adoption and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and BI delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering Power BI reporting solutions, preferably within enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of data lake architectures and BI reporting implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• Experience managing reporting implementation projects, including testing, deployment, and go-live support.
• Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, and release management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Project Management experience with a strong focus on delivery and results.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in global or regional transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of BI reporting templates, governance frameworks, and reporting standards.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting operational reporting in supply chain, finance, manufacturing, or commercial environments.
