Network Architect - Portuguese-speaking

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a strong Network Architect (Portuguese-speaking), to join one of our largest Manufacturing clients in a long-term and remote assignment. For this assignment we can only consider candidates who are based in Portugal, and speak Portuguese.

The Network Architect provides support in IT Infrastructure initiatives with project support, strategy development and 3rd party management. The individual in this role exhibits a strong passion for building and improving secure networks, with a focus on project delivery. Additionally, he/she acts as a Subject Matter Expert in various Network Technologies

Network Architect Responsibilities:

• Participate in developing and maintaining Network related IT infrastructure strategy and associated IT Technology roadmap
• Design and implement solutions for complex security and ICS infrastructure environments
• Participates in various Network/infrastructure projects and initiatives including designing, implementation, documentation and handover to operations team
• Acts as the subject matter expert for Network technology solutions within ICS environment
• Familiar with security technologies such as firewall, IDS, endpoint security solutions, access control systems, and other related security technologies within ICS environment
• Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they meet technology standards, as well as all applicable architecture considerations
• Documenting network capabilities as appropriate for both internal and external consumption.

Network Architect Requirements:

• Experience in Network Infrastructure field in a multinational environment; Understanding of IT and OT network communication protocols
• Experience with next generation firewall technology (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) desirable
• Strong understanding of Network Technology fundamentals
• Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
• Strong knowledge of Cisco environment (ISR, Catalyst, ASA)
• Proactive and excellent communicator
• CCNP certification or equivalent
• Fluency in English and Portuguese

Network Architect details:

• Start date: June/July 2026
• Location: Portugal-based (remote assignment)
• Duration: Until end of year, with extensions
