Global Enterprise Partners is supporting a leading international manufacturing organization in the search for a Junior Engineer (Plant) to support critical plant operations and the ongoing implementation of enterprise systems within the production environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior engineering professional looking to develop hands-on experience across production, manufacturing systems, warehouse coordination, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with plant, warehouse, and maintenance teams to support daily operations while contributing to the successful deployment of new digital processes and systems.

Role Overview

As the Junior Engineer (Plant), you will play a key role in supporting plant activities during a major ERP and MES transformation initiative. You will be responsible for maintaining production-related master data, supporting production planning activities, coordinating with warehouse operations, and assisting with daily shop floor processes.

Working within a dynamic manufacturing environment, you will gain exposure to production operations, inventory management, maintenance systems, process optimization, and digital transformation projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering while working directly with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support plant operations during ERP and MES implementation activities.
  • Maintain production formula data within the MES environment in compliance with approved workflows.
  • Maintain product label information and ensure adherence to established approval processes.
  • Manage product pre-requirement data within the ERP system and execute approved updates when required.
  • Analyze production plans and support operational adjustments to ensure manufacturing feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse teams to support inventory and stock management activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Collect, organize, and maintain shop floor production records and operational documentation.
  • Execute daily ERP and MES operational activities required at plant level.
  • Support routine shop floor operations, including pre-weighing, manual additions, bagging, and other production activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company procedures and operational standards.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or technical training in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, production, or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Previous shop floor experience would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Interest in manufacturing systems, production planning, and plant operations.
  • Understanding of ERP, MES, or industrial digitalization initiatives is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Fluent Portuguese and English communication skills.
