Junior Management Controller - Coimbra

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Management Controller to join our Finance & Controlling team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career in a dynamic international manufacturing environment.

As a Junior Management Controller, you will support the monthly closing and reporting activities for the EMEA region, provide valuable financial analysis, and contribute to management reporting across multiple business functions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and provide support to the Controller for the Iberia region.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and half-year financial closing activities.
• Support monthly closing and reporting processes for the EMEA Animal Nutrition business.
• Prepare and maintain global reporting for various departments and business functions.
• Develop and issue tailored management reports covering areas such as:
  • Sales performance
  • Gross margin analysis
  • Product family performance
  • Financial and operational KPIs
• Analyze investments, financial results, and key selling performance indicators.
• Provide support to the AN Iberia Controller with financial and controlling activities.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance and reporting processes.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken (preferred).
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, or Accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Internship or trainee experience in a relevant finance function will also be considered.

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of financial reporting and management controlling principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with financial data and performance indicators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP and reporting systems is an advantage.
