Overview

We are supporting a global Digital Factory Programme within a leading Life Sciences organization that is implementing and standardizing Körber PAS-X MES across multiple manufacturing sites worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Global MBR Designer to support PAS-X deployment activities within a French manufacturing site, working closely with Production, Quality, Manufacturing Excellence and Production Systems Engineering teams.

The successful consultant will play a key role in the design, development, testing and deployment of PAS-X Master Batch Records (MBRs) and Electronic Batch Records (EBRs), while supporting site adoption and knowledge transfer activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and maintain PAS-X Master Batch Records (MBRs) and Generic Master Batch Records (GMBRs).
  • Translate manufacturing processes and business requirements into PAS-X electronic batch record workflows.
  • Support the conversion of paper-based manufacturing processes into digital manufacturing execution processes.
  • Define process parameters, equipment integrations, quality checks, sampling instructions and electronic workflow logic.
  • Facilitate workshops with Production, Manufacturing, QA and Production Systems Engineering teams.
  • Work directly with operators and site SMEs to validate manufacturing processes and MES designs.
  • Execute and support testing activities including UAT, MBR verification and deployment readiness assessments.
  • Participate in site deployments, hypercare activities and go-live support.
  • Support training and knowledge transfer activities to local Production Systems Engineers and site support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, CSV, Annex 11 and data integrity requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and harmonization of the global PAS-X template.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience designing and configuring PAS-X MBRs and GMBRs.
  • Experience implementing or supporting PAS-X Electronic Batch Records (EBRs).
  • Strong pharmaceutical, biotech or GMP-regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with operators, SMEs and manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
  • Experience supporting MES deployments, testing, validation and go-live activities.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV) and electronic records requirements.
  • Strong communication, training and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent French and English.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Körber PAS-X implementation expertise.
  • Experience with PAS-X template standardization and global harmonization initiatives.
  • SAP, DeltaV, SCADA or manufacturing system integration experience.
  • Experience supporting Production Systems Engineering teams.
  • Digital Factory or Industry 4.0 programme experience.
  • Multi-site MES deployment experience.

Travel Requirements

This is primarily a remote role; however, regular site presence will be required during key project phases.

Expected travel commitment: approximately one week onsite per month on average for workshops, testing, deployment support, training and go-live activities.

Travel expenses will be covered by the client.
