Global MBR Designer (English and French speaking)

Contract | Remote with incidental travel | Initial 18 Months

Overview

We are supporting a global digital manufacturing transformation programme seeking an experienced Global MBR Designer to support the implementation of a leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across a highly regulated life sciences environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating paper-based batch records into electronic batch records (EBRs), supporting the deployment of digital manufacturing processes and helping drive operational excellence across global manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Master Batch Records (MBRs) for PAS-X MES implementation.
• Translate manufacturing processes into structured digital workflows and electronic batch records.
• Define process parameters, quality checks, equipment requirements, and sampling instructions.
• Work closely with manufacturing, QA, MES and site SMEs to gather and validate requirements.
• Participate in design workshops, testing activities and deployment support.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, CSV and data integrity requirements.
• Support MBR verification, validation and audit readiness activities.
• Train site teams on MBR usage and digital manufacturing processes.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, MES, or batch record design.
• Previous experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Medical Device manufacturing.
• Strong PAS-X MES experience.
• Experience designing and validating electronic batch records (EBRs).
• Knowledge of GMP, GxP and Computer System Validation (CSV).
• Experience working with manufacturing operations and production stakeholders.
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation and training skills.
• Fluent English and French.

• Körber PAS-X expertise.
• LabVantage LIMS experience.
• OT/LIMS integration experience.
• Industry 4.0 or Digital Factory programme experience.
• Multi-site MES deployment experience.

• Location: remote
• Work Model: Remote with flexibility to incidentally travel to global sites during key project phases
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: Initial 18 months
• Workload: Full-time
