GCP Data Engineer - 12+ Months - Remote

We're looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join an exciting project at a prominent FMCG brand.

You'll help unify data scattered across multiple systems and build scalable, automated data solutions. You'll bring data (mainly from SAP) into GCP, create complex KPI logic, and enable business insights. You'll also support a new Transportation project involving real-time data integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Ingest and integrate data from SAP and other systems into GCP (Python)
• Build and automate data pipelines and workflows in BigQuery
• Design and develop complex KPIs based on business logic
• Deliver clean datasets to Power BI teams for dashboarding
• Audit, improve, and refactor existing code and KPI logic
• Support real-time data integration (Transportation / EPI project)
• Work closely with business stakeholders and explain solutions clearly
• Propose creative, scalable solutions to complex data challenges

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong expertise in GCP (BigQuery, pipelines)
• Solid Python skills (data ingestion & transformation)
• Experience extracting and working with SAP data
• Ability to understand and improve existing codebases
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
• Critical thinker and problem solver (not just a coder)

Nice to Have

• Supply chain or transportation domain experience
• Experience with real-time data pipelines
