Enterprise Information Architecture Lead - 6+ months - Munich

Global Enterprise Partners is currently supporting a major fashion and retail client in Germany in the search for an Enterprise Information Architecture Lead.

You will be responsible for leading the organization's architecture and portfolio, ensuring high-quality architecture data, visibility across the technology landscape, and data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and continuously enhance the enterprise architecture repository and related governance processes.
• Maintain clear visibility of applications, business capabilities, technologies, and key dependencies.
• Drive application portfolio governance, capability mapping, and architecture data quality initiatives.
• Provide insights into technology risks, duplication, lifecycle status, and optimization opportunities.
• Utilize AI and analytics tools to improve reporting, automate quality controls, and generate portfolio insights.
• Support architecture adoption across business and technology teams through stakeholder engagement and enablement.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience within Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, or a similar field.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture platforms, preferably SAP LeanIX.
• Strong understanding of architecture governance, capability modelling, and portfolio management principles.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and related methodologies.
• Broad business process understanding across ERP, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, eCommerce, and Marketing environments.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in global or multi-entity organizations.
• Familiarity with AI, analytics, or automation technologies.
• Fluent English.
