Data Scientist - EU Remote - 6 Months

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive business impact? We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to design, develop, and implement analytical solutions that support decision-making and help solve complex business challenges.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, translating business problems into scalable analytical solutions while leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical problem statements and identify data requirements.
• Test, clean, structure, and prepare data to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis and modelling.
• Design, develop, test, and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms.
• Build and maintain predictive and statistical models that support business decisions and identify trends.
• Deliver actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Digital Specialists, and Management Information Systems teams to implement scalable analytical solutions.
• Communicate model design, functionality, and outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor, test, and maintain analytical solutions to ensure ongoing effectiveness and performance.
• Continuously improve analytical models in response to evolving business needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Applications, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in Data Science, Statistical Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Experience applying statistical methods, machine learning techniques, optimization, and predictive analytics.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, R, Java, or C++.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience with distributed computing and big data technologies such as:
  • Apache Spark
  • Hadoop
  • Hive
  • MapReduce
  • Similar large-scale data processing frameworks
