Data Engineer - Porto - hybrid

Global Enterprise Partners is supporting one of our global fashion/retail clients and looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing data team and help build reliable, scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance data pipelines across multiple data sources,
• Design data models that enable efficient reporting and self-service analytics,
• Work with large datasets to deliver trusted and scalable data products,
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders,
• Improve data quality, performance, and reliability,
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements/Experience with:

• Building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with data warehouses,
• Strong SQL skills and data modelling experience,
• Proficiency in Python or Java,
• Cloud platforms (Azure or GCP),
• Airflow or similar orchestration tools,
• BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker),
• Understanding of CI/CD, testing, and version control practices,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills,
• Hadoop, BigQuery, distributed data processing, and Agile,
