Cybersecurity DevOps Specialist - (Freelance/Contract)

We are looking for experienced Cybersecurity professionals with strong DevOps expertise to join a client operating within the pharma/life sciences industry. This is a freelance contract opportunity requiring hands-on experience in penetration testing and core security practices within regulated environments.

Requirements:

* Strong experience in core Cybersecurity roles
* Proven background in DevOps (CI/CD, automation, cloud environments)
* Hands-on experience in Penetration Testing (web, infrastructure, or application security)
* Experience working within pharma/life sciences or other regulated (GxP) environments
* Knowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles
* Experience with vulnerability management and security tools
* Strong understanding of risk assessment and compliance frameworks
* Freelancer setup with valid GST registration (mandatory)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders

Responsibilities:

* Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across systems
* Integrate security practices within DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps)
* Identify and remediate security risks in applications and infrastructure
* Collaborate with development and business teams to improve security posture
* Support implementation of security best practices and compliance requirements
* Contribute to secure architecture and design discussions
* Monitor, assess, and enhance overall cybersecurity framework
* Provide expertise on risk mitigation and incident prevention
