Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a strong Coupa P2P Specialist, who can join our manufacturing client's project in Slovakia and Hungary. We are looking for people with strong Coupa P2P experience who can be onsite in Bratislava once a month and who are excited to join a high-energy and determined team. The goal of the project is to configure Coupa as the P2P platform for our client's local business. As other business units use Coupa, Global Blueprint and Configuration are available.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced P2P Application Specialist to support a multi‑workstream Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) implementation program centered on Coupa, with integration into SAP. The specialist will play a key role in leading and coordinating functional workstreams, configuring the Coupa platform, and ensuring seamless alignment with SAP processes and data flows. This role requires deep hands‑on Coupa expertise, solid SAP P2P knowledge, and experience operating in complex, transformation programs.
As the successful candidate, you will support the execution of the strategic procurement agenda by implementing and maintaining best-in-class procurement processes and procurement systems to benefit the OpCos within the Group. Ensuring the client's Coupa system is operating with limited system issues, you will advise on and execute the configuration based on a Fit/Gap analysis
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for translating the outcome of Fit-Gap analysis into the Coupa configuration
- Drive solution configuration and deployment of Coupa in line with business requirements, global templates, and SAP integration standards.
- Review, validate, and oversee Coupa configuration, SAP integration designs, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and deployment readiness.
- As part of the project team, you are responsible for leading the stream 'configuration' and the associated timelines and acting as a senior subject matter expert in this area.
- Work with the Coupa support desk and the project team
- Maintenance of configuration and design documentation, incorporating change requests and new functionalities implemented through new releases.
- Ensure that change control procedures are implemented and used for all deployments
- Maintain and deliver test plans for user acceptance testing for new functionalities and regression testing.
- Partner with local and regional IT and Finance responsible for the development and support of Coupa integrations with interfacing systems
- Support as required in the areas of change management and training
- Support the creation of new training materials by demonstrating new functionalities implemented through new releases or change requests.
About You
- The ideal candidate can show proven extensive multiyear experience in large project environments and Coupa configuration, as well as strong project management skills.
- Proven experience leading or co‑leading workstreams in large‑scale Coupa implementations.
- Strong hands‑on configuration experience in Coupa
- Strong project management skills
- The ideal candidate should be able to evidence experience working in a Procurement process and/or systems professional with sound business acumen. As well as being a dedicated and engaged team player who can collaborate with other functions and strive for continuous improvement of our processes and/or systems.
Work Requirements
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
- Must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.
Specific Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in Coupa Configurational activities
- COUPA certified
- Experienced in release management and system controls with eProcurement cloud applications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to operate effectively with business, IT, and finance leaders.
- Strong analytical skills in change management and experience in performing impact assessments on systems and processes
- Strong Project management skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Process and technology oriented
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Information Technology
- Experience in ERP systems - e.g., SAP considered a plus.
Coupa P2P Specialist details:
- Expected start date: September/October 2026
- Duration: 5 months minimum / 5 days per week
- Location: Remote - travel to Bratislava for 1 week per month (travel expenses covered by the client)
