Cloud Infra Architect Serbia

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a Cloud Infra Architect in Serbia, to join a remote assignment for one of our global clients.

The Architect is accountable for defining and governing enterprise-grade technical and integration architectures across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role requires translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable solution designs while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities include:

* Architectural Design & Documentation Develop and maintain comprehensive technical architecture artifacts, including infrastructure diagrams, integration blueprints, and system interaction models.

* Cross-Functional Technical Leadership Serve as the primary technical liaison among engineering teams, vendors, project managers, and product owners to ensure cohesive and transparent solution delivery.

* Stakeholder Communication Present, defend, and articulate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring communication to the audience.

* Strategic Alignment Collaborate with technology enablers and domain architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, compliance requirements, and long-term business strategy.

* Implementation Oversight Guide cross-functional teams during implementation, ensuring adherence to architectural patterns, secure design principles, delivery timelines, and governance controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications

* Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in technical architecture, infrastructure strategy, and cloud design. Essential qualifications include:

Cloud Infra Architect Requirements

• 10+ years as a Technical Architect in hybrid infrastructure environments, or 15+ years as a senior Infrastructure Engineer in a large-scale organization.
• Extensive knowledge of on-premises and Azure cloud architectures, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security governance.
• Expert-level proficiency in enterprise networking (WAN, LAN, VPN, SD-WAN) and designing highly resilient, secure connectivity models.
• Proven experience producing high-level and detailed solution architectures using Microsoft Visio or Draw.io.
• Cloud Architecture: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred), AWS/GCP equivalent
• Networking: CCNP, CCNA, or similar professional-level networking certification
