The AI Governance Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company's AI governance framework, ensuring AI solutions are deployed responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role supports the implementation of governance policies across the enterprise, helping business teams navigate AI-related risks while maintaining an audit-ready AI portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the AI governance lifecycle, including intake, risk classification, and compliance reviews for new AI initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the EU AI Act and other applicable regulations by maintaining governance documentation, risk registers, and audit evidence.
- Apply governance controls and risk management processes across the AI portfolio.
- Coordinate AI incident management, including issue intake, escalation, resolution tracking, and lessons learned.
- Support the monitoring of deployed AI models and agents for bias, fairness, and safety.
- Translate governance requirements into practical guidance, controls, and checklists for business and technical teams.
Profile
- Master's degree in Law, Technology Policy, Risk Management, Data Protection, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in AI governance, risk & compliance, privacy, or regulatory operations.
- Good knowledge of the EU AI Act, GDPR, and AI risk management frameworks.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
