AI Engineer / AI Specialist (Italian & English Speaking) - Italy (Hybrid)

We are currently supporting a leading international organisation within a highly regulated environment in expanding its AI capability across Italy. They are seeking hands-on AI professionals who thrive in experimentation, prototyping, and building intelligent solutions from the ground up.
This is an exciting opportunity for "AI-native" talent who enjoy coding, testing, and developing real-world applications, working closely with business stakeholders to solve complex challenges.

🔍 Requirements

  • Fluency in Italian and English (both required)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Information Engineering
  • Proven hands-on experience with AI development, modelling, and experimentation
  • Strong programming skills (ideally Python or similar cloud-compatible languages)
  • Experience in:
    • Prompt engineering
    • AI prototyping & rapid experimentation
    • Agent development (building or contributing to AI agents)
  • Understanding of cloud environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with GxP environments or regulated industries is highly advantageous

💼 Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement AI-driven solutions and models
  • Build and test AI agents and intelligent systems
  • Rapidly prototype solutions to validate business use cases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Work across AI platforms and tools to experiment and optimise outputs
  • Contribute to innovation by exploring new approaches within AI and automation
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance standards where applicable (e.g., GxP)

📍 Details

  • Location: Italy (Rome preferred)
  • Working model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract: Flexible / project-based environment (depending on candidate)
