We are looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to bridge the gap between business transformation and emerging technologies. This is not a traditional engineering role. It is a unique opportunity for a senior professional who combines deep industry expertise with hands-on technical excellence to solve complex business challenges through AI-first solutions.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with enterprise clients, embedding alongside business leaders to understand their challenges, shape transformation strategies, and rapidly build solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

As a trusted advisor, strategist, and builder, you will:

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand complex operational and strategic challenges.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements and actionable solution designs.
• Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, from discovery and solution architecture through deployment and value realization.
• Design, engineer, and deploy AI-first solutions in 90 days or less.
• Build and implement:
  • LLM-powered agents
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
  • Generative AI workflows
  • Intelligent automation platforms
• Rapidly prototype solutions, iterate with users, and prioritize features that drive measurable business value.
• Communicate technical trade-offs and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Build repeatable frameworks and playbooks that scale across industries and client engagements.
• Establish credibility with both business leaders and technical teams by leveraging your deep domain expertise.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

You bring at least 12 years of combined industry and technology experience, including meaningful time spent in operational or functional business roles.

You have experience working in one or more of the following domains:

• Finance or Banking
• Supply Chain and Logistics
• Manufacturing and Operations
• Commodities and Trading
• Comparable industry sectors with complex business processes

You are comfortable engaging directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, translating strategy into execution and communicating with clarity and confidence.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate is a hands-on practitioner with broad technical capabilities and a passion for emerging AI technologies.

AI & Generative AI

Experience with:

• Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
• Prompt engineering
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI agent development
• Multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, and AutoGen
• Fine-tuning fundamentals and AI model optimization
• Deploying production-grade Generative AI solutions

Data & Analytics

Strong experience with:

• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Data modeling
• ETL/ELT pipeline design
• Business Intelligence and analytics tools
• Structured and unstructured enterprise data environments

Cloud & Infrastructure

Proficiency in:

• Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Docker and Kubernetes
• API development and integration
• Enterprise security principles and best practices

Software Engineering

• Strong Python development experience (required)
• Proficiency in at least one additional programming language
• Ability to work across the full technology stack when required

Enterprise Systems Literacy

Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as:

• SAP
• Salesforce
• ERP systems
• CRM platforms
• Trading and industry-specific systems
