SAP Hybris Upgrade Insights

Leading up to the enforcement of GDPR, there were many rumors in the SAP market of companies hastily upgrading their SAP Hybris systems. Our dedicated SAP Hybris recruitment team conducted a short survey of our network to shed some light on SAP Hybris upgrades and found the following insights.

 

Results 

Over 71% of our network were found to be currently involved in or planning upgrades within SAP Hybris. 29% had no upgrades planned, primarily due to running a version of SAP Hybris at 6.3 or higher. Of those who were upgrading, 50% were upgrading to 6.6, 37% to 6.7 and 13% to 6.3. The most commonly cited reasons for upgrading were:

  • GDPR compliance
  • New and improved features of the upgrade
  • Better performance of new releases
  • Support concerns for older versions
